Nestled on the heights of Praz-sur-Arly (74), this small barn is part of a larger property that also includes a spacious farmhouse, on a plot of approximately 5,000 m².
In a severely dilapidated condition, major works were required to provide comfortable accommodation for a small family, with attractive outdoor areas and double-height interiors. All of this using rustic, aged timber, carefully worked to restore warmth and conviviality to the living spaces, using natural materials in the purest local tradition.
The southern exposure provides increased natural light; to the east, views of Mont Blanc; and to the west, magnificent sunsets over Mont Charvin. The use of roof windows also ensures zenithal light in summer, which, despite a traditional architecture with small windows, floods the interior with natural light.
Project currently under construction, in collaboration with Gaston Muller and Atelier Bivouac.
